MPG Multi Vehicle
Effective date: 22nd July 2026
MPG Multi Vehicle helps you track fuel efficiency, costs, and odometer readings across multiple vehicles. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and which third-party services are involved.
The vehicle, fuel, and odometer data you enter (e.g. mileage, fuel cost, litres, vehicle names) is stored using Google Firebase Firestore so that your records are saved and can sync across sessions. This data is:
See Google's Firebase privacy and security practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
MPG Multi Vehicle displays non-personalised ads using Google AdMob to support free access to the app.
Because AdMob is used, the app collects and shares the following with Google for advertising purposes:
Ads shown are non-personalised: they are not based on your individual interests or ad history. You can reset or manage your Advertising ID at any time via your device's Settings > Privacy > Ads.
See Google's own advertising and AdMob privacy practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
If you choose to watch a rewarded ad to support the app's development, we record that you did so. Specifically, we store the number of times you have watched a support ad and the date and time of each occurrence. This data is linked to your account while the account is active and is used to recognise your support of the app and, in future, may be used to determine eligibility for supporter features.
The app may let you select a rough geographic region (e.g. one of six broad regions in the UK, or similarly large regions worldwide). This is optional. On account deletion, we only record whether you used this feature. We also store your approximate country, derived from your device's language/region settings rather than GPS or IP address, to help us understand where the app is used. The country is stored at a coarse level and not used to determine your precise location.
We use Sentry to automatically capture crash reports and error logs so we can identify and fix bugs. This may include device type, OS version, app version, and technical details about the error. This data is used solely for stability and debugging purposes and is not used for advertising.
See Sentry's privacy policy at sentry.io/privacy.
If you contact us directly (for example, via email for support), we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message, solely to respond to your enquiry.
MPG Multi Vehicle uses the following third-party services:
Each of these providers processes data according to their own privacy policies, linked above.
Your vehicle and fuel data is retained for as long as you continue to use the app. If you delete your account, all data that identifies you - including your vehicle and fuel records, email address, and support/region data - is permanently deleted. When you delete your account, we retain a small anonymous record containing non-identifying aggregate statistics: the approximate month you signed up, when you deleted the account, the number of vehicles and readings on the account at the time of deletion, whether you used the region feature, your country, and how many support ads you watched. This record contains no name, email, device ID, or other identifier and cannot be traced back to your account.
Crash reports and analytics data are retained only as long as necessary for debugging and product improvement purposes.
MPG Multi Vehicle is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.
Anonymous aggregate statistics retained after account deletion cannot be individually accessed or deleted, as they are not linked to any identifiable person.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
